Adventure
Hollow Harbor
★★★★☆ 4.3
Hollow Harbor is a mood piece as much as a game. You explore a drowned coastal town solving environmental puzzles and slowly uncovering what happened there. The pacing is deliberate, the art is gorgeous, and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting.
Puzzles are logical and grounded — no moon-logic combinations that require a guide. When we got stuck it was because we'd missed a detail, not because the game was being obtuse. That fairness kept us motivated.
It's a shorter experience, maybe four or five hours, but it's the kind of story that sticks with you. Play it with headphones.
