Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG you sink into over weeks. The turn-based combat asks you to read enemy patterns and rotate your party's roles instead of just mashing the strongest attack. Once the elemental system clicks, fights become little puzzles you're happy to solve.
The writing is above average for a mobile RPG, with companions who actually change based on choices you make. Progression is generous without feeling automatic — you level up by playing, not by waiting.
Our only gripe is a slightly cluttered inventory screen, but that's a small tax for how much game is here. If you want something to live on your phone for a while, this earns the space.
