About
Pocket Lap started as a group chat where a few of us kept recommending games to each other. At some point the list got long enough that we decided to write it all down properly, and the site grew from there. Nobody here is a marketing team — we're players who like breaking down how a game feels in the hand.
Every game we cover gets real playtime. For a racer that means running the same tracks over and over to see how the handling holds up; for an arcade title it means chasing that one more run until we understand the loop. We don't review from trailers.
We lean toward games that respect your time and your phone. A great mobile game should load fast, run cool, and be fun in a two-minute burst as much as a long session. Those are the things we notice and write about.
The catalog is small on purpose. We'd rather cover fewer games well than churn out shallow blurbs. If something makes the list, it earned it.
